Kildalton

Kildalton churchyard Islay, here stands one of the finest early Celtic crosses still standing today. And a shell of stone work from the old Kildalton parish church, with a load of history absorbed into it's walls. Some more really old graves with connections to the lordship of the Isles are here  too. A ewe with her lamb stopped for a while to get a picture taken on my way back to the car... :)
