I started this leather sheath on the last post..
My stitching gadget arrived this week.. So after an evening during the past week and an hour this afternoon.. And the glue my mentor Zelva mentioned..
I ended up with this which I pretty happy with for a first attempt.
Now I quiz my mentor once more!!
What can I use to dye this brown.. Using something natural..?

I marked out and cut some leather to make a sheath, for the little knife that I bought a few weeks back.. The original sheath, was well beyond saving..
I wanted to do it justice.
So I had a go at wet forming, which is pretty easy and really works..
I just need order the right gear for stitching..
It will have double thickness in a few places.. As my leather is perhaps a little thin for the purpose but it'll do for me..
Here it is so far..
And I hope that Zelva is pleased with my efforts...;b
A few stools that kept me occupied during some wet weather..
Hazel legs with Cherry tops...
A couple with random bracing...
Keeps me off the sofa...;b
I finished off these wooden cups or Kuksa.. And a little cherry eating spoon which proved a little tough as it was a few months on the wrong side of green...
Also I picked up this nice little knife at this mornings booty..;b
