I started cleaning up an old bit of oak that's been used as ballast below my workbench for the past few years this is going to be top of a stool..
It has a couple of shakes in it but they're stable.. So instead of cutting this part off I made some staples out of a copper boat nail..
The legs are ash which will give a nice contrast..;b
You DO like stools; don't you? lol I can tell that you're a little guy compared to me. My stools would need stretchers!
