Horse From A Horse...

Got into carving this today..
A Horse head kuksa cup.. Out of some Horse Chestnut..
It works very easily. And has some nice colour variations through the grain...
It gave me the little kick I needed to get back in the workshop...;b

Car Boot Candy

Bought this little block plane today made in the USA..
No maker as such a few numbers on it..
Gave it a little file over the edges to knock off some rough stuff.. And a little clean..

Hammers and Oldtimers

I bought this nice shiny fuller hammer at the car boot and another old head along with a shaft..
The shiny one was a bargain at 5 pounds.. The old head and shaft were a pound..
I'll fit these together soon..
And the old poster of some bygone  days when man armed with great skill and minimal tools felled these giant trees...;b
