Country Roads
The weather this weekend was absolutely gorgeous , frost in the morning then sunny all day . I jumped on my bike and headed off , I cycled the country roads until I found a nice tree lined trail and followed it through the woods.
With all the trees now wearing their autumn cloaks and the bleached bone colour of the standing deadwood it was a great day to be out and about . Hiding among them I found this special tree, I wonder if any of you guy's know what it is ? check the last 3 pictures and place a comment with your answer :)

hey brian, beautiful spot you found there. looks majestic and quiet. can almost smell the scent of the air.is that a hemlock . reminds me of some of our northern forest areas. ken k.
ReplyDeleteHey Ken, sorry its not a hemlock, it does look like an old gnarly but this will be around 100 years old so a youngster really. Yeah it is a really nice place thanks for looking in :)
